Post-Sleep Musings and Majestic Lions?

I just got up.

You know, when life gives you troubles, sleep in. But not too much, or you'll really regret it. Remember the Waking Up Face? Yeah. Too late for me, I'm afraid.

But there's more, actually.

So, I had a dream last night that was kind of crazy. I remember that I was running through someone's yard, when all of the sudden their dog--who had been sleeping in a cute, fluffy pile, came running at me and started biting me like crazy. I was like, "Hey, dude...quit...that." (actually, I can't remember if I said anything other than asking it to stop biting). But then, a nice old man came out, shot his shotgun in the air (I think that's what it was), and the dog ran away.

Then, as I went to his garage to attend my "wounds" (I don't think I had any), a girl I don't know stopped by and offered me the chance of a lifetime: private volleyball tutoring. Random, but awesome. We talked about volleyball, and then I think she tried to seduce me. Weird.

Then I think I remember something about being a Jedi and using the Force in super cool ways.

That was my dream. Pretty freakin exciting.

Have you ever wondered why we dream what we dream? Ever have dreams that you can't figure out, and you don't have Joseph of Egypt around to explain them to you? I seem to have that problem a lot--I can never find that guy...

Sometimes, I wonder if our thoughts go crazy when we dream because we have to restrain them when we're awake. Then, maybe Freud is right and the Id takes over to a certain degree, because the Ego and Superego aren't there to hold it at bay.

A picture of Sigmund would go nice here, I think.

Ah yes. Very nice, Sigmund. Even though you were kind of crazy and Oedipus-ish.

How about a picture of a majestic lion? Yeah, why not. What about two pictures? Oh baby.

(and to be clear, I did the search "Majestic Lion" on Google Images. Good stuff, maybe check it out later.)

Ok, I think my brain has gone dry. Except, not really. Never mind, you know what I mean. I think.

Have a good day. Make good choices, be happy, go to Church, etc. Make your momma proud.
